Gauss theorem states that Total flux through closed surface is 1/Eo times the net charge enclosed by closed surface
Proof: Electric field at any point
- E= kq/r^2
This field points radially outwards so parallel to ē Theta=zero
Flux =E ds
Flux through E = E*Total area of sphere
=kq/r^2.4πr^2
flux= q/E0
