Answer:

Newton's first law tells us that to bring a change in tree state of rest or in state of motion of an object, a force is needed i.e., a force produces a change in velocity of the object.

Newton's second law tells us about the magnitude of acceleration produced by the Force when applied on the object.

These two laws do no explain how the Force acts on the object.

Statement: To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction.

Examples:

  • A book on table.

  • Pushing a wall.

Thus, Newton's third law of motion states that in an interaction of two bodies A and B, the magnitude of reaction (i.e., the Force F ab applied by the body B on the body A) is equal in magnitude to the action (i.e., the Force F ba applied By the body A on the body B), but they are in directions opposite to each other.
