Every person has an equal right before the law and practice equal protection
Every person shall have the right to freedom and security of the person, which shall include the right not to be detained without trial.

Rights that are guaranteed by the Constitution of South Africa to its citizens :-

1) Right to privacy, so that the citizens or their homes cannot be searched, their phones cannot be tapped and their communication cannot be opened.
2) Right to an environment that is not harmful to their health or well being.
3) Right to have access to adequate housing.
4) Right to have access to health care services, sufficient food and water and no one can be refused emergency medical services.
