While national assembly was busy in drafting constitution the rest of the France seethed with turmoil. A severe winter had meant a bad harvest and the price of the bread rose rapidly. And the bakers exploited the situation and harder supplies the assembly passed a decree abolishing the feudal system of obligation taxes

5) Demand for universal adult franchise:
Each estate of the general estate had a single vote. Though the 3rd estate had the highest population. So the representatives of the 3rd estate demanded for 1 vote for each one.
