Four factors affect rate of reaction are

i.Temperature,if temperature is high more molecules will move faster the reaction or in some cases it can be opposite.

ii.State of reactants, if they are solid less surface area will be in exposed to each other to react on like in stomach bile salt increase the surface area by emulsifying the fat molecules.

iii.presence of catalyst.

iv.concentration of the material which are reacting, like in acid base reaction if we take dilute then reaction will be slow require mixing but if concentrated it will react violently.
