there are some plants which do not have chlorophyll. they cannot synthesise food .

auto tropic mode of nutrition means that the food is made by the organism directly. eg:- green plants

heterotropic mode of nutrition means that the food is taken by one organism from the plants directly or indirectly. eg:- animals.
