Himadri Range.
The inner part of the Himadri, i.e the core of Himadri is mainly made up of granite.
It is the northernmost as well as the innermost range of the Himalayas.
The Average Altitude of the Himadri Range is about 6000 meters.
Shiwalik Range.
The Shiwalik range is composed of sediments that are brought down to it by the rivers from the main Himalayas. [These sediments are loose deposits].
