$\longrightarrow$ The inner part of the Himadri, i.e the core of Himadri is mainly made up of granite.

$\longrightarrow$ It is the northernmost as well as the innermost range of the Himalayas.

$\longrightarrow$ The Average Altitude of the Himadri Range is about 6000 meters.

Shiwalik Range.

$\longrightarrow$ The Shiwalik range is composed of sediments that are brought down to it by the rivers from the main Himalayas. [These sediments are loose deposits].

$\longrightarrow$ The Shiwalik Range is the outermost range of The Himalayas.

$\longrightarrow$ The Average altitude varies lies from about 900 metres to 1100 meters.
