During the winter season, cool, dry winds blow from North to South. The rays of the sun do not fall directly on the region. As a result, the temperatures are quite low in Northern India.

Whereas, in the hot weather season, the rays of sun more or less fall directly on this region. As a result, the temperature rise up. Hot and dry winds called loo, blow during the day.
