Hey

Factors responsible for the growth of nationalism in India are :-

• The first world war has created a new political and economical situation all over the world .

• To increase the defence expenditure , british led to increase in taxes in india .

• Customs duties were increased and income tax was introduced .

• Villagers were called upon to supply soldiers and force recruiment was also done ( it means making the villagers to join the british army forcely even though villagers has not wish to join )

• Crops failed in many parts of india , which led to increase in prices more .

• And when the problem was from everywhere then all these were accompanied by the infulenza epidemic .

Overall , all these problems created a sense of nationalism in india .

And as Mahatama Gandhi just came and provoked everyone to take steps for getting freedom and liberty then all angerness came outside .
