1.Formation- The pressure groups are formed when people with common interests and opinions come together to achieve a common objective.
2.Integration-These pressure groups helps in the integration if the society.
3 Raising public issues-The pressure groups raises issues like corruption and Child labour which make the people aware.
4.From specific to wider scope-Narmada Bachao Andolan started with specific issues of the people displaced by the creation of Sardar Sarovar Dam. Gradually, it became a wider movement that questioned all such dams and the model of development that required such dams.
