The main causes of poverty in India are :
Lack of education :
Due to illiteracy many people are still suffering in poverty. This is one of the important cause.
Rapid increase in the population growth :
This is the most important cause as due to it the country's income isn't enough much to eradicate poverty and nowadays there are very big families which are needed to be fed.
And also lack of not much employment is also one of the causes.
