Advantages.

• Waterway is alien relatively faster method of transportation since there is huge transportation by roadways.

• In addition to this waterway also increases the comfort of travel because of the less amount of time taken.

Disadvantages

• All parts of the country are not connected by waterways unlike roadways. As a result of this it cannot be setup for all places.

• Secondly due to destruction of any transportation there may be extensive leakage of oil resulting in the destruction of Aquatic lives and pollution of water.
