★SPRINKLER SYSTEM :

This method involve sprinkling of water on plant it is generally used in areas with uneven land to those having soil with poor water holding capacity perpendicular pipe with rotating nozzles on top are joined to main pipe LINE which is played in the field when water is made to flow through the pipe line under pressure using a pump It moves out to the nozzles in all directions and the water falls on ground .

★DRIP IRRIGATION :

This method is very useful for areas having acute water shortage in this method waterfalls drop by drop near the roots throw narrow pipes and tubes and there is no wastage of water in this 'drip irrigation ' method. Sometimes untimely rains and strong wind result in falling down of Crop plants at the grain maturation stage . This is called lodging. It adversely affects the quality and yield of grains .
