Materials:Cylinder shaped paper,Source of light(torch,candle)

Procedure:

Take a cylinder shaped paper

Place a source of light on a table

Now,look from the cylinder from source of light.It is visible.

Now,bend the cylinder shaped paper.

Look from there to the source of light.

Its not visible.

Hence,It states that light travels in a straight line.

Materials:Two transparent sheet,a source of light,an opaque object.

Procedure:

Take a source of light.

Now,place two transparent sheets straight in line.

After that sheet,place an opaque object.

Now if we see,

Light is visible from both transparent sheets whereas on opaque object light is not visible.

Hence,it proves that light travels in a straight line.
