-- Disadvantages of using chemical fertilizers are :

1.long term use of chemical fertilizers can destroy the soil pH level

2.it decreases the eco friendly microorganisms such as earthworms in soil .

3.It increases the pests in the soil .

4. Even it also contribute to the release of greenhouse gases

5. Chemical fertilizers are also very expensive so it is only used by rich farmers .
