Hi friend . here is your answer....
In my opinion, I would say a television as both a helpful , and unhelpful souce too. On one side, we can see a lot of informational videos on it , for us to learn new and interesting facts, wheras on the other side ,it can cause eye problems , makes relashionship among people farther than it has ever been before with the television. It is sometimes called as an idiot box as most of the shows viewed by people are not informative and knowledgeable. They tend to make children and adults spend a lot of their time alike, and not even on something that will expand the horizon of their minds.So, if you ask me I would say the television will be a boon to the society if we use it in control and mostly use it to watch informative things that can expand our mind's knowledge, and it can also be a bane if we spiral out of control with our exessive usage of television. Finally , I would liKe to conclude this answer with a quote by Anonymous :
"Too much of anything is good for nothing. "
Thus , I say that television should not be completely disposed off as an idiot box which fills your mind with junk. It also has some good uses.
