Properties of POP are :-

i)It is white powder.
ii)It has very remarkable property of setting into a hardmass on wetting with water.
iii) It should be stored in moisture proof conatiner. It is prepared from gypsum . It is heated @ the temprature of 100°C. Its loses 3/4 of water and form POP.
