2) They are sour in taste.

3) They turn blue litmus to red .

4) ph of strong acids is between 1 to 3 .

5) Example :- HCl , H2SO4 etc.

BASES :- 1) They release (OH-) ions in water .

2) They are bitter in taste .

3)They turn red litmus to Blue .

4)ph of Strong Bases is between 11 to 14.

5) Example :- NaOH etc.

Any substance with a pH value between 0 up to 7 is considered acidic, whereas a pH value of 7 to 14 is a base.
Acids are sour in taste and basses are soapy
