state difference between monohybrid and dihybrid?

Answer:

Monohybrid cross is a cross involving only one pair of contrasting character. Example : TT for tall and tt for small phenotype. Dihybrid cross is a cross involving two pairs of contrasting character.

Example:

TTPP for tall plant with purple flower while ttpp for small plant with white flower.
