   TROPIC MOVEMENTS :-

  1. Tropic movements are directional movements.
  2. In this movement, direction of stimuli determines the direction of movement of individual parts of plants.
  3. They show response to different stimuli like light, chemicals etc.

Some of the examples are Phototropism, Hydrotropism, Geotropism etc.

   NASTIC MOVEMENTS:-

  1. Nastic movements are non-directional movements.
  2. The non-directional movements of plant parts is caled nastic movements.
  3. It means that direction of the movement may not be determined by direction of stimuli.

The best example to explain it is mimosa pudica plant famously known as Touch Me Not plant.
