The position of women are same in early and later Vedic period. Women gives equal amount of knowledge to the society, women leads kingdom, women were worriers & fighters, women are philosophers, women are housewives, women works shoulder to shoulder with men in agriculture to sow paddy in field. Women give education to their children, women worshiping God and Goddess etc.
The difference is women were wearing saree those days, and wearing jeans now these days. They were able to talk in mother tongue those days, and now they are able to talk in multiple languages including foreign languages.
