It is a tubular structure that carries blood to and fro of different places of body.It may be vein,artery or capillary.

Arteries:
A blood vessel that carries oxygenated blood from heart to all parts of body.


Vein:
A blood vessel that carries deoxygenated blood from all parts to heart.
