Hey !!

⊕ Whenever there is a change in magnetic flux linked with a coil, an emf is induced in the coil. The induced emf is proportional to the rate of change of magnetic flux linked with the coil.

      ε ∝ ΔФ / Δt

⊕ Emf induced in the coil opposes the change in flux,

         ε ∝ -ΔФ / Δt => ε = -k ΔΦ / Δt

where k is a constant of proportionality.

→ Negative sign represents opposition to change in flux.

In SI system Ф is in weber, t in second, ε in volt k = 1 ,

                              ε = - ΔФ / Δt

If the coil has N-turns then ε = -N ΔΦ / Δt

Good luck !!
