Ferrel's law is the law that wind is deflected to the right in the Northern Hemisphere and to the left in the Southern Hemisphere. Its a geographical law in physics we don't deal with it instead we use coriolis force. Its relation with corriolis force is as follows..

Where cross product gives the direction. When u apply this formula then it gives u complete picture of coriolis force and from this ferrel's can be derived.
