Newton's First Law states that an object will remain at rest or in uniform motion in a straight line unless acted upon by an external force. It may be seen as a statement about inertia, that objects will remain in their state of motion unless a force acts to change the motion.

This is the one of the three laws of motion which was given by Isaac Newton , the greatest physicist of all time...

According to this law:-

"A body is at rest will remain at rest and the body is in motion will continue to be in state of motion unless an external force is not acting on it..."

Hope it helps you out♡♡

iamalpha: slightly deviated response. .though correct
