It is found that whenever a current carrying conductor is placed inside a magnetic field , a force acts on the conductor, in a direction perpendicular to the directions of the current and the magnetic field. It's the Fleming's left hand rule.

✨Fleming’s left-hand rule:

Stretch the forefinger, middle finger and thumb of left hand in such a way that they are mutually perpendicular to each other. If the forefinger point in the direction of magnetic field, middle finger point in the direction of current then the thumb show the direction of force or motion on the current carrying conductor.
