FLEMING'S LEFT HAND RULE :-

FLEMING'S LEFT HAND RULE was devised by Fleming which states that if the thumb, forefinger and middle finger of our left hand is stretched in such a way that each of the three are perpendicular to each other, Then the middle finger will show the direction of current flowing through the conductor, Forefinger will show the direction of magnetic field (From North to South) and the thumb will show the direction in which the force will act(motion of the conductor) .

USES OF THE RULE :-

This rule is used in many types of devices. The most common example is an electric Motor.

FLEMING'S RIGHT HAND RULE :-

FLEMING'S RIGHT HAND RULE was also given by Fleming which states that if the thumb, forefinger and middle finger of our right hand are stretched in such a way that each of them are perpendicular to each other, then the thumb will show the direction of motion (force), the forefinger will point out the direction of magnetic field ( From North to south) and the middle finger will show the direction of induced current.

USES OF THE RULE :-

This rule is used in devices like generator in which the mechanical energy is provided to get the induced electrical energy.

Thanks!

in Fleming right hand rule the thumb represents the direction of motion of the conductor, first finger shows the direction of magnetic field lines of force and the middle finger points in the direction of the flow of induced current.

the direction of the magnetic lines of force of a magnetic field produced by a straight current carrying conductor can be determined easily by the right hand rule...
