Q. State the given physical quantities are scalar or vector.

→temperature pressure ,impulse ,time, power, total path length, energy, gravitational potential ,coefficient of friction and charge?

Ans :-

Vector →pressure, Impulse, gravitational potential.

Scalar → Temperature, time, power, total path length, energy, charge, coefficient of friction.

Vector Quantity :- Those quantity which have magnitude as well as direction and follows vector law of addition and subtraction is called vector quantity.

Ex :- Force, displacement, velocity etc.

Scalar quantity :- Those quantity which have magnitude but don't need direction for their expression is called a scalar quantity.

Ex :- Area, volume, time etc.

Exceptional :- Current has both magnitude and direction but it is not a vector quantity because it doesn't obeys the vector law's.

hence, it's important for a vector quantity to first follow the vector's law then it is said to be a vector quantity.
