Explanation:
The formation of a solution from a solute and a solvent is a physical process, not a chemical one. Substances that are miscible, such as gases, form a single phase in all proportions when mixed. Substances that form separate phases are immiscible. ... Exothermic (ΔH soln < 0) processes favor solution formation.

Four conditions for the formation of a solution are-
- Nature of the solute and the solvent- The solubilty of the solute and solevent are dependent on the chemical nature of either. All the solutes do not dissolve in every solvent.
- Stiring or shaking-The method of dissolving the solute in the solvent effects the formation of the solution. If we stir or shake the contents continously and vigoursly then the solution forms fatsrer.
- Heating- Heating the compositon so as to form a solution is a muchee farster process than stiring or shaking. asolution reaches it's staturation level much faster when heat is used istead of stirring. The solute dissolves faster when heated.
- Size of the solute particles- The smaller the size of the solute particle the faster it will dissolve in the solvent.
