Arteries: Arteries carry oxygenated blood away from the heart to the body.
Veins : They carry oxygen-poor blood back from the body to the heart.

Veins: All veins carry deoxygenated blood except Pulmonary veins.

Veins : Veins have thin walls with few elastic fibres.

Veins : They contain valves to prevent the backflow of blood.
