Receptors are sensors which receive stimuli and respond accordingly.
Gustatory or taste receptors are present inside our oral cavity, they allow us to taste and differentiate between good and bad type of foods.
These receptors consist of taste cells which allow us to differentiate between salty, sweet, sour, bitter and spicy flavors.
