state fundamental theorem of arithmetic. is it possible that HCF and LCM of two numbers be 24 and 540 respectively. justify your answer.​

HCF is a factor of LCM

but in this case 24 is not a factor of 540.

\frac{24}{540}  =  \frac{8}{180}  =  \frac{4}{90}  =  \frac{2}{45}

so in this case 24 is not a factor of 540.
