Gauss's law is the law which is related to the electric flux for closed surface. It was developed by Karl Friedrich Gauss which is also known as Gauss's theorem. The closed surface used in the Gauss's law is called Gaussian surface.

Answer:

Gauss' theorem states that the electric flux through any closed surface is equal to 1/ε₀ times the net charge enclosed by a surface.

Explanation:

The Gauss' theorem in electrostatics gives a relation between the electric flux through any closed hypothetical surface called a Gaussian surface and the charge enclosed by the surface.
