Gay lussac's law states that, For a given a amount of gas at constant volume, pressure of gas is directly proportional to temperature.

Let ~ be the sign of proportionality

Then,
=> P ~ T
=> p = k T (k is constant)
=> P/T = k

so, P1/T1 = k
and P2/T2 = k

Thus,
P1/T1 = P2/T2
