State how caste inequalities are still continuing in India​

Caste inequalities have not completely disappeared from India. Even today, most people marry within their own caste or tribe. Despite constitutional prohibition, Untouchability has not ended completely. Education is not easily available to the so called 'low castes'.

Access to education to cast groups that did not have it earlier has progressed slowly in India there by creating inequalities in literacy and jobs. Inequality in access to jobs has for the created gaps in wealth among caste groups. Disadvantaged caste groups also had lower wealth such as Land to past to future generations which is reflected today in wealth inequality among caste groups. The belief that caste is the basis of social community has caused social divisions among caste communities and therefore they are not United to struggle for common interest.
