The story is definitely a triumph of the human courage, as the girl strongly confronts the crocodile and wins over it. It shows the courage of the girl and how her courage makes her triumphant over the crocodile. 

The story also shows that "where there is a will, there is a way", as the girl is determined to find something precious in any case. This is what keeps the girl motivated and she eventually finds the blue bead.
