The most important thing is to keep telling yourself you can do well. I know it sounds clichéd but trust me I have seen it work many times. Whenever you become a little discouraged because of some conversation with your friends or some 'advice' from your elders, you have to actively keep telling yourself you can do it. As exams get closer I see many people developing this thought process that exams are very hard and getting good marks is extraordinary. This is not true.We make this image of successful people inside our minds as these exceptional ideal students who start preparing from the first day and study for hours everyday. I used to pick up my books on the last day. I'm not encouraging you to follow my path. What I am saying is that ANYBODY can get good marks. Even if you haven't solved 4 sample papers everyday or religiously followed a time table for studying 8 hours a day. Nobody is that perfect. We are all human. Don't disqualify yourself before you even try. Be happy and cultivate a good state of mind. Everything else will follow.

Hope it helps....
