Markovnikov's rule states that when a hydrogen halide is added to an unsymmetrical Allene, the hydrogen atom of the hydrogen halide will go and attach itself to the carbon atom having the most number of hydrogen atoms.

(ii) propene + hydrogen chloride ==> 2-chloropropane
