Explanation:
maxwell right hand thumb rule shows the direction(clockwise or anticlockwise) magnetic field around a current carrying conductor. fleming's left hand rule shows the direction of force when current flow through a conductor.

Answer:
- Maxwell right hand thumb rule states that if you hold the current carrying straight wire in the grip of your right hand in such a way that the stretched thumb points in the direction of current then the direction of the curl of the fingers will give the the direction of the magnetic field this rule is also called Maxwell corkscrew rule.
- Fleming's left hand rule states that if the the fore finger , thumb and middle finger of left hand are stretched mutually perpendicular to each other such that fore finger points along the direction of external magnetic field, middle finger indicates the direction of current then the thumb points towards the direction of force acting on the conductor.
maxwell's right hand thumb rule -
- It is used for electrical generators
- it shows the direction of magnetic field around a current carrying conductor
- the tumb represents the direction of motion of the conductor
Fleming's left hand rule-
- it is used for electrical motors
- it shows the direction force when current flow through conductor
- the thumb represents the thrust on the conductor
