according to mendel's first law of inheritance the characteristics are the traits of an organism are determined by the internal factors which occur in pairs only one pair of such factor can be present in single gamete.

according to Mendel second law of inheritance in the inheritance of more than one pair of traits in a crossing simultaneously the factor responsible for each pair of teeth are distributed independently to the gametes
