Newton’s first law of motion = states that “A body at rest or uniform motion will continue to be at rest or uniform motion until and unless a net external force acts on it”

For example = Suppose a block is kept on the floor, it will remain at rest until we apply some external force to it. Also, we know that it takes us more effort or force to move a heavy mass. This is directly related to a property known as Inertia. This law is also known as the law of inertia.

Hope this helps you dude ☺️☺️✌️✌️✅✅

Newtons first law of motion can also be known as law of Inertia

It states that:-
An object at rest or uniform motion stays to be at rest or at uniform motion unless and until the object gets in the influence of any external force.

Example:-
Consider a ball lying on the ground and it remain stationary unless any external force is applied such as any boy comes and kicks the ball
OR
Consider a car moving in a velocity 10km/h .The car will not change its velocity until the driver accelerates it or applies brake.

This occurs due to Inertia

INERTIA:-Inertia is the property of a body which inherits the body to be in its natural condition
