Our feet is in contact with the bus ,so when the bus moves our feet moves with it..but our upper body tends to stay in same state of rest and pushes itself back when the bus moves due to inertia of rest
similarly when a moving bus stops the feet stops with the bus ,but the upper body continues to stay in motion and we fall forward
