In 1687, sir Issac Newton, in famous treatise named "Principia" discussed, in detail, the motion of bodies------- specially the motion

of planets and other heavenly bodies. He established three laws known as the laws of motion.

First law :

Everybody continues in its state of rest or of uniform motion in a straight line ,unless it is compelled by an external impressed force to change that state .

Second law :

Rate of change of momentum of a body is directly proportional to the impressed force and takes place in the direction in which the force acts.

Third law :

To every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

plz Mark as it brainliest.plz plz do it

  • Newton 's first law of motion states that a body continues to remain in its rest state or a uniform motion along a straight line endless acted upon by external unbalanced force it is also called Law of inertia.

  • Newton ' s second law of motion states that external force acting on an object is directly proportional to rate of change of its momentum

  • Newton 's third law of motion states that every action , there is an equal and opposite reaction .Action and reaction forces act on the different bodies i.e Reaction force = Action Force.
