It states that acceleration is directly proportional to applied unbalanced force in the direction of force

pmmm: thanx
Cr7100: the rate of change of momentum is directly proportional to applied unbanlanced force . Sorry

it is the law of momentum in which p=mv means momentum is the product of mass and velocity.if mass is lesser its velocity is higher then the momentum is always higher.example a small bullet hits a man with a larger velocity but its mass is lesser because of velocity it kills a man and a truck of moving with small velocity but heavy mass so when it smashed with man man also kills. it means momentum is remains constant . it make same momentum so it do same work.
