NEWTON 1st LAW OF MOTION is

an object at rest want to remains at rest and an object at motion want to remains at motion but an external imbalance force applies and change object's state (rest to motion and motion to rest)

Explanation:

Newton 1st law of motion Express that any object wants to remains at same state (motion or rest) which it have but an external imbalance force change its state.

e.g 1.A cricket ballat rest wants to remains at rest but an external imbalance force (produced by baller)change its state rest to motion.

e.g 2.A moving cricket ball(Hit by batsman)wants to remains at motion but an external imbalance force of friction change its state motion to rest.
