★ Newton's second law of motion
============================================================================================

☆ Newton's second law of motion states that the rate of change of momentum of an object is directly proportional to the force applied on an object.

☆ According to the Newton's second law of motion, "The force applied on an object is equal to the product of the object and acceleration produced in it."

☆ This law gives the definition of force.

☆ Newton's second law of motion is showed by two mathematical formula:-

• Force (f) = ΔP/Δt = (mv - mu)/(t2 - t1)

where,

ΔP = Change in momentum = mv - mu
and
Δt = time interval = t2 - t1 = t.

• F = ma

where,

F = Force
m = mass
a = acceleration.

☆ Example:-

When you push a heavy object and a light object, the acceleration of the light object will be more because the mass of the light object is less than the heavy object.

☆ I have also attached an image that shows about the Newton's second law of motion, according to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
