The newton's second law of motion related to force and motion is;
Force=Mass×acceleration where as acceleration due to gravity is 9.8m/s

Newton's second law states that
the rate of change of momentum is proportional to the applied unbalanced force in the direction of the force.
f = mv - mu/t
f = m(v-u)/t
f = km × (v-u)/t
f = kma
but here k is proportional and k = 1 so,
f = ma
