Newton 's third law of motion estates that ' 'For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction ' '. When we walk we push the ground backward [action]. The ground exerts an equal and opposite force on us [reaction]. This helps us to move.

Answer:

Newton's third law of motion states that "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction".

Explanation:

In case of a man walking on the ground, the man applies a force backwards and in reaction to this, the ground applies a force forwards which results in the man walking forward.
