Newton second law of motion states that if the time or duration will be increased then the force will get decreased. the expression for this is that.
f = 1/ time.
or
force is inversely proportional to the force applied.
for example... when a fielder in the cricket game catches the ball he moves his hands backwards. by his tha action he increases the time and hence the force is decreased and he doesn't get injured.
